Tartine Russe cookies recipe
Ingredients
150 g flour
150 g cane sugar (candy sugar can also be used)
150 g butter
1 egg white
Preparation
1. Soften the butter.
2. Add the sugar to the butter.
3. Beat this mixture until fluffy.
4. Beat the egg white until fluffy but firm.
5. Carefully fold the beaten egg white into the butter and sugar mixture.
6. Place baking paper on the baking tray in the oven.
7. Spread the mixture over the baking tray.
8. Bake for 15 minutes at 175°.
9. After everything has been baked, it is best to cut the whole thing into smaller pieces with a knife and remove it from the baking tray to dry.
10. If desired, you can also make a white buttercream to spread between 2 slices.

Basic buttercream recipe
Ingredients
250 g soft butter
250 g icing sugar
2-4 tbsp milk
Optional: vanilla extract, other flavorings
Preparation
Beat the soft butter with a mixer until light and creamy.
Add the icing sugar spoon by spoon and mix well.
Add the milk, starting with 2 tbsp, and mix until the buttercream has the desired consistency. Add more milk if necessary.
Add flavorings if necessary and mix briefly.
