  6. Users using the Windows Vista (64 bit) need the Sony SonicStage CP 4.3 installed, can be downloaded on: Sony SonicStage CP 4.3. This is the most stable version of SonicStage and can be used by Windows 7 (64 bit) users too. You need to be online to prevent the program from crashing.

  7. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing! I never thought I'd be able to use this device again!

  8. Thanks for your effort but it doesn't work with MDS-JE780 on Win 7pro X64 :(

    ReplyDelete
  9. With "Online" I mean that you need to be connected to the Internet. If you are not connected to the Internet and you start Sonic Stage it sometimes get you an error about the music library and then it start to run the File Conversion Tool from Sonic Stage and after conforming it, the program shuts down. If you are connected to the Internet you will be able to open Sonic Stage without an error. It's an common error because the library sometimes need to be on the Internet to check it's license.

  29. I have successfully installed the drivers into Win10 64bit, you have to disable the driver signing check. That is the message about the missing hash file. I followed the instructions on howtogeek. Sonic stage recognises the MD player and the tracks on the discs.

  36. I am at a loss: I have Win10 64 bit, downloaded the "NetMD MZ-RH1 and later (HiMD)" for a Sony/Aiwa AM-NX9. I have disabeled secure boot in the BIOS and activated Testmodus (shown at bottom right of screen).
But when updateing the driver on the Net MD device, I continue to get the error: Device can not be installed; driver can not be found.

  37. OK, tried again of different PC also with WIN10, but now did de Boot Secure disable and Disable signature through restart (instead of bcdedit). Now the driver can indeed be loaded with warning.
And then the infamous DRM kicked in: I can not upload from my Net MD (AIWA AM-NX9) to my PC (which is probably the 3rd after the original PC with. Had all forgotten about that
So, either via headphones, or download all that music from the internet.

  41. You need to install the unsigned driver, Windows 10 does not like you doing that but it can be done, see this page for three ways to instal the driver: https://www.maketecheasier.com/install-unsigned-drivers-windows10/
Make a note of how you install the driver as Win 10 will keep un-installing it when it installs updates. I am just happy, NetMD support has given my 2nd pc, win7 32 bit and not upgradeable, an excuse to be kept and not binned!

  48. *****Works Guaranteed****

    Hello Folks

I faced the same issue within the Windows 10 (64bit) environment. All you have to do is download a copy of above mentioned drivers and save it as unzipped in any of your drive (say c:\).

Now, Go to windows advance startup option and selection option: Disable driver signature enforcement.

Restart your system, and install the drivers by going device manager and update drivers --> Browse my computer for drivers ---> drivers location (as example c:\). Locate the drivers and Boom!

Try it! It works for sure!

  61. Hey there
I chose the RH1 driver for my NH1. I followed an external source to install non-registrated drivers in Windows 11. I afterwards could choose and install the drivers, but unfortunately the yellow exclamation mark next to the Net-MD in USB Drivers, does not go away, and I still can't connect my device.
    Any solutions for Windows 11?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Wow - Finally, NetMD driver files for Windows10 x64 that actually install after download and unzip. Now my NH-1 is recognized by Sonic Stage as a Net Minidisc unit, (when a regular disc is inserted), as well as Hi-MD. So many other offers of this driver just didn't work for one reason or another. So glad I stumbled onto this site.
Now if I can just find Simple Burner files that will install on my computer.
