Terroristic attacks in Brussels Airport This day is one of the darkest days in the history of Belgium by two terrorist attacks on Belgian soil. These terrorist actions are claimed by the IS terror group. Around 8 am there are two loud explosions heard in Brussels Airlines airport. Two bomb packages would has exploded in the departure lounge. At once it was declared as a terror attack and the whole building was evacuated, threat level of terror attack has been raised to level 4 over the whole country. We speak of 13 dead and 35 wounded. Belgium waffles grandmas recipe

Sights in the High Fens (Belgium)

What can you see in the High Fens in the Ardennes? Strepy-Thieu , the largest ship lift in the world, with steel cables that are more than 5 cm thick. The rivers Sambre and Meuse flowing together in the city of Namur. Promenade des artistes and the sources of Spa . This is a walk by and on "Ruisseau la Picherotte" ith the middel of the forest. There you can walk through the sources of Spa. Caves of Remouchamps . Here it is possible to take a boat trip. Dam of Robertville nearby Warche . There you can walk through the forest to a castle. Coalmine of Blegny is out of order but can be still visited. A visit to this coal mine usually leaves a deep impression to the visitors.

Roof of church falls down in Diepenbeek, Belgium after the celebration of Christmas Night

Saturday 25, 2010. In Lutselus, a parish of the Limburg Diepenbeek, collapsed a church after the celebration of Christmas Night, about 4 hours in the morning. The church collapsed because of the enormous weight of snow on its roof. Only the front, the back and a piece of the tower are still standing. De grotten van Neptunus (Couvin - Frasnes - Petigny)

De rondleiding begint aan de voet van een steile rots van kalksteen over een loopbrug boven de wilde grillige rivier 'Eau Noir'. Daarna wandel je voorbij een indrukwekkende kloof, waar het water in de diepte verdwijnt. Hier begint de tocht in de grotten. De rivier `Eau Noir' dankt zijn naam aan de donkere kleur van het water. Dit komt door de leisteen in Tierag en de kalksteen uit Tienne, die het water uitholt en meevoert. De bron van deze zwarte rivier bevindt zich op 20 km van de grens. In de grotten bevinden zich vleermuizen. Er leven er 3 verschillende soorten waaronder de grootste zo'n 30 cm zijn. De rondleiding wordt onderverdeeld in 4 delen. Het eerste tweede en derde deel bevindt zich boven in de grot. Voor het laatste deel gaan we naar beneden in de grot, meer bepaald op plaatsen waar het water zo'n 60 cm diep is. In de eerste plaats waar men binnenkomt bevindt zich de versteende waterval. Dit komt door de erosie van het water dat het zachte kalkgest...
