Het net of de koord komt tot op een hoogte van 1,53 m. Deze afmetingen gelden zowel voor badmintonvelden in open lucht als binnen in sporthallen.

The epicenter was located over 100 km north of the Thai city of Chiang Rai. While in Japan an extension of the emergency has been proclaimed for the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
